TITLE: Community Development Block Grant Sub-recipient Agreement between Sarasota County and the City of North Port to fund staff salaries at the Family Service Center in the amount of $52,800.
Recommended Action
Approve the Sub-recipient Agreement between Sarasota County and the City of North Port in the amount of $52,800.
Background Information
The attached Sub-recipient Agreement will provide the City of North Port with $52,800 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding to be used for staff salaries in the Social Services Division to assist low income families. The Case Workers are located at the Family Service Center.
This is the sixth year the City has received CDBG funding to offset staffing expenses associated with providing assistance to low income families in North Port. The Sarasota County Board of Commissioner’s has approved the item at their October 13th meeting.
The agreement has been reviewed by the City Attorney.

Financial Impact
This is a reimbursement grant. Therefore, all associated expenses will be reimbursed after incurred. Total reimbursement will not exceed $52,800.
