Presentation on the Butler Park Family Aquatic Center conceptual plan and timeline.

Background Information

At the March 29, 2017 Commission workshop, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. presented a concept for a 50M competitive pool w/ bulkheads, lazy river, support buildings (bath house, office, concessions, and pool mechanical) with pool heaters, lighting, fencing, shade, and concrete pool deck for staging and spectator seating. 3) Added the shade for the bleachers
4) Deleted the oval canopy at the main bathhouse/entry area and made it perpendicular to get more deck space
5) Relocated and expanded the bowl slide and added a wet deck area at the river island

With the Commission's approval at the May 22, 2017 meeting to move forward with the project as presented and discussed, the design, bidding and construct...
