Approve Agreement No. 2017-01 with Helena Chemical Company and SiteOne Landscaping Supply, LLC for Pesticide and Herbicide Chemical Supply for an estimated total annual amount of $105,850.
Background Information
In November 2016, Request for Bid No. 2017-01 for Pesticide and Herbicide Chemical Supply was issued. Two (2) bid submittals were received with no company eligible for or claiming local business preference. Both Helena Chemical Company and SiteOne Landscaping Supply, LLC are recommended for award based on lowest line item pricing. This award will allow all City Departments to order various pesticide and herbicide products on a case by case basis.
The products are needed for aquatic weed control, land weed control and various pesticide applications by Road and Drainage, Utilities, and Neighborhood Development Services.
As permitted by the Procurement Code, purchase orders will be issued upon award of this bid. The initial term of award is from the date of this approval, through and including September 30, 2018, and may be renewed at the same unit prices, terms, and conditions for three (3) additional one-year terms by mutual agreement.
