Recommended Action

 

Option 1: Approve the reappointment of Joan Morgan as a Regular Member to serve a second term on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board from June 13, 2026, through June 13, 2029, on the Consent Agenda.

Background Information

 

Currently, there are three vacancies on Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The vacancies were announced as required. The City Clerk received one application from Joan Morgan on May 18, 2026, for reappointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Joan Morgan has been a resident of North Port for over 6 months and currently serves on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board as a Regular Member appointed by the Commission. The application for Joan Morgan is submitted for the City Commission’s review and consideration.

 

There are no conflicts pursuant to Florida Statutes 112.3143.
