Recommended Action

 

Option 1:  Approve the Appointment of Kevin D. Wallace as a Regular Member to serve a First Term on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board from February 10, 2026, through February 10, 2029, on the Consent Agenda.

 

Option 2:  Deny the Appointment of Kevin D. Wallace as a Regular Member to serve a First Term on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board from February 10, 2026, through February 10, 2029, on the Consent Agenda.

 

Background Information

 

Currently, there are four vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The vacancies were announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Kevin D. Wallace for appointment to the Board on January 7, 2026. Kevin D. Wallace has been a resident of North Port for over 6 months. The application for Kevin D. Wallace has been submitted for review and consideration.

 

There are no conflicts pursuant to Florida Statutes 112.3143.
