Recommended Action
Option 1: Approve the appointment of Carolyn Barry as a regular member to serve a first term on the Art Advisory Board from January 13, 2026, through January 13, 2029, on the Consent agenda.
Option 2: Deny the appointment of Carolyn Barry as a regular member to serve a first term on the Art Advisory Board from January 13, 2026, through January 13, 2029, on the Consent Agenda.
Background Information
Currently, there are seven vacancies on Art Advisory Board. The vacancies were announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Carolyn Barry for appointment to the Board on December 20, 2025. Carolyn Barry has been a resident of North Port for over 6 months. The application for Carolyn Barry has been submitted for review and consideration.
There are no conflicts to note under Florida Statutes 112.3143.
