Recommended Action

Option 1: Provide staff a list of suggested agenda items to send to the Superintendent of Sarasota County Schools for the 2026 Convocation of Governments.

City Commission Options

Option 1: Provide staff a list of suggested agenda items to send to the Superintendent of Sarasota County Schools for the 2026 Convocation of Governments.

* Pros: Provides a list of topics from the City of North Port for this meeting between interlocal partners.
* Cons: Staff has not identified a disadvantage of providing a list of suggested agenda topics.

* Pros: Staff has not identified an advantage to not providing suggested agenda items.
* Cons: Any items the City of North Port may want to discuss would not be considered for the meeting agenda.
