Approve letter of support for the Wastewater Pumping Station Upgrade Project for a Federal Appropriations Request.
Background Information
City staff is preparing a request for Federal Appropriations. The request is for the upgrade of wastewater pumping stations in the amount of $2,000,000. The project will upsize five (5) existing wastewater pumping stations to spur and support commercial economic development in the northeast region of the City. The upsizing is necessary for wastewater system expansion to occur.
Representative Steube’s office has indicated that a letter from the City is required for the application.
