TITLE: A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of North Port, Florida, as the Governing Body of the North Port Road and Drainage District, Repealing and Replacing Resolution No. 2024-R-61, Establishing a Schedule and Location of Road and Drainage District Regular Meetings for the 2025 Calendar Year; Providing for Findings; Providing for Conflicts; Providing for Severability; and Providing an Effective Date.
Recommended Action
Adopt Resolution No. 2025-R-03 as presented.
Background Information
During the Governing Body of the North Port Road and Drainage District Meeting held on November 26, 2024, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2024-R-61, establishing a schedule and location of Road and Drainage District Regular Meetings. Subsequently, during the Governing Body of the North Port Road and Drainage District Meeting held on December 10, 2024, the City Commission approved the Governing Body of the North Port Road and Drainage District Meeting Schedule changing the November 25, 2025, meeting to November 18, 2025. The attached Resolution has been modified to include the November 18, 2025, date for the Governing Body of the North Port Road and Drainage District Meeting.
Resolution No. 2025-R-03 has been reviewed by the Interim City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
