Recommended Action
Approve the appointment of Gustavo Collazo as an Alternate Member of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, to serve a term from October 22, 2024, to October 21, 2027.
Background Information
Currently, there are two vacancies for Alternate Members and two vacancies for a Student Member on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Gustavo Collazo. Mr. Collazo has been a resident of North Port for over twelve months and does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee. Florida Statutes 112.3143 regarding conflict disclosures is not applicable for this applicant. His application has been submitted for review and consideration.
