Recommended Action

 

Approve Resolution No. 2024-R-54 as presented.

 

Background Information

 

The City of North Port is seeking to transfer real property located on Grenard Circle, Parcel Identification Number 1149211805, to the North Port Road and Drainage District. 

 

The purpose of this transfer is to allow the Road and Drainage District to use this parcel located on Grenard Circle to negotiate a property swap to acquire a storm water maintenance parcel located on Pilgrim Road, Parcel Identification Number 1147201414.

 

The Road and Drainage District is in need of acquiring the parcel located on Pilgrim Road to support the City’s stormwater conveyance system infrastructure.

 

Resolution No. 2024-R-54 has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
