Recommended Action
Award Request for Bid No. 2024-21 for Right of Way Mowing, Trimming, and Litter Removal with TGA Equipment Inc., at the unit prices indicated for an estimated annual amount of $439,474.00 for fiscal year 2025, and authorize the City Manager to approve renewals in accordance with the terms and conditions in the solicitation.
Background Information
Request for Bid No. 2024-21 for Right of Way Mowing, Trimming, and Litter Removal bid opening was on June 17, 2024, and four bids were received.
The Contractor will perform eight (8) cycles of mowing services on arterial and collector roads and six (6) cycles of mowing services on City owned local roads and drainage rights of ways within the City of North Port. The services will be provided in the following locations:
> Arterial and collector roads: (All main roads within the project boundaries as shown on Map 1 and Map 2): March, May, June, July, August, September, October, and December.
> Local roads: (All local roads within the project boundaries as shown on Map 1 and Map 2): March, June, July, August, September, and December.
> Drainage rights of ways, retention ponds, ditches, and drainage canals: (All accessible drainage facilities within the project boundaries as shown on Map 1, Map 2 and Map 3): February, April, May, June, August, and November.
