Background Information

The City of North Port, a direct recipient of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF), received $4,213,679.50 on June 7, 2021, from the U.S. Department of the Treasury (U.S. Treasury) and received $4,213,679.50 on June 9, 2022, for a total of $8,427,359.00.

Selecting this option did not change the priorities already selected and approved by the Commission.

The following projects are currently receiving SLFRF funds:

* Toledo Blade Boulevard/I-75 Water and Sewer $ 645,587.00

* Sumter Boulevard/I-75 Water and Sewer $3,809,492.00

* General Fund Budget Fiscal Year 2023 $ 570,000.00

* City Website Improvements $ 100,000.00

* Fire Station 81 Remodel $2,000,000.00

* Hillsborough/Cranberry Intersection $1,302,280.00
