Recommended Action
Approve the reappointment of Paul Kaskey as a regular member of the Municipal Firefighters Pension Trust Fund Board, to serve a third term from January 23, 2024 to January 23, 2026.
Background Information
Currently, there are zero vacancies for Regular Members for the Municipal Firefighters Pension Trust Fund Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application for Paul Kaskey with no other eligible applications submitted. Mr. Kaskey has been a resident of North Port for over twelve months and does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee. Florida Statutes 112.3143(6) regarding conflict disclosures is not applicable for this applicant. The application has been submitted for review and consideration.
