TITLE: Discussion and Possible Action Regarding the Temporary Suspension of the Historic and Cultural Advisory Board Sunset Provision.
Recommended Action
1. To direct the City Clerk to draft an Ordinance to dissolve the Historic and Cultural Advisory Board. OR
2. To direct the City Clerk to draft a Resolution continuing the suspension of the Historic and Cultural Advisory Board. OR
3. To not take any action, allowing for Resolution No. 2022-R-66 to sunset, resuming the Historic and Cultural Advisory Board meetings.
Background Information
The following provides a chronological order of events pertinent to the Historical and Cultural Advisory Board:
Ø September 13, 2022: During the City Commission Regular Meeting, the Commission approved a motion to direct the City Clerk to draft an Ordinance to suspend the Historic and Cultural Advisory Board.
Ø November 22, 2022: During the City Commission Regular Meeting, the Commission adopted Resolution No. 2022-R-66, Suspending the Historic and Cultural Advisory Board with a sunset date of January 1, 2024.
