TITLE: Approve the Appointment of Jessica A. Eik and Paul A. Jackomin as Members of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board to Serve a Three-Year Term From April 25, 2023, to April 25, 2026.
Recommended Action
Approve Jessica A. Eik and Paul A. Jackomin as Members of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board to serve a three-year term from April 25, 2023, to April 25, 2026.
Background Information
Currently, there is one (1) vacancy for a Regular Member and two (2) vacancies for Alternates on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one (1) application from Jessica A. Eik and one (1) application from Paul A. Jackomin and it is requested that the Commission appoint one applicant as the Regular Member and the other as the Alternate I Member. Ms. Eik does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee, and she has been a resident of North Port for over six (6) months. Mr. Jackomin does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee, and he has been a resident of North Port for over six (6) months. Florida Statutes 112.3143(6) regarding conflict disclosures is not applicable for either applicant. Their applications have been submitted for review and consideration.
