Approval of the Minutes for the March 28, 2023 Art Advisory Board Special  
Meeting, and the April 11, 2023 Art Advisory Board Meeting.  
A motion was made by Board Member Gozion, seconded by Board Member Loos,  
to approve the Minutes as presented for the March 28, 2023 Meeting and the April  
11, 2023 Meeting. The motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.

Election of a Vice Chair.  
The nomination of Eva Rathgeber as Vice Chair carried unanimously on a voice  
vote.

Discussion and Possible Action Regarding the City's 65th Anniversary and  
Community of Unity Themed Project.  
Discussion and Possible Action Regarding the Placement of Artwork Near  
Walgreen’s in Heron Creek.  
A motion was made by Board Member Gozion, seconded by Board Member Fritz,  
to invite Mike Halligan to return next month with a mock-up, work schedule, and  
fees. The motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.

Discussion and Possible Action Regarding the Art Advisory Board's  
Project Status Report.

Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Commission's Direction  
Pertaining to a Mural at the Community Education Center  
A motion was made by Board Member Gozion, seconded by Board Member Loos,  
to request the City provide building dimensions for the Social Services Building on  
Pan American Drive, including the part with stones and the three windows on the  
Wilfred Churchill Hall side, that board members individually visit the site to gain  
understanding of area, and send photos of the building to Ms. Mendelson. The  
motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.

Upcoming Events and Programs with the North Port Art Center (Dee Dee  
Gozion).  
Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Painting the City's Utility Boxes

A motion was made by Board Member Loos, seconded by Board Member Fritz, to  
learn the Utility Department's approval, share our ideas to paint/wrap the boxes,  
and request favorable locations. The motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.
