Approve Contract No. 2023-41 Professional Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) Services & Geotechnical Engineering Services for Price Boulevard - Phase I Widening Project with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. in the amount of $4,218,161.04.

Background Information

Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 2023-41 for the CEI and geotechnical engineering services for the Price Boulevard Phase I widening project was posted on August 2, 2023. Three (3) companies responded to the RFP which were evaluated and ranked by a Selection Committee. AECOM Technical Services, Inc. was the highest ranked, responsive, and responsible company to move forward with negotiations.

The Department of Public Works intends to start construction on the Price Boulevard Phase I Widening project in 2024. The scope of this CEI Contract is to assist the Department of Public Works Engineering Division with the monitoring of construction activities such as inspection, material, and geotechnical testing, responding to resident inquiries, monitoring and documenting contractor activities, and assisting with the approval of invoices.

Agreement No. 2023-41 has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
