Recommended Action
Approve the appointment of Richard Gortz as a Regular Member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, to serve a term from February 27, 2024, to February 27, 2027.
Background Information
Currently, there are two vacancies for Regular Members and two Alternates Members for the Zoning Board of Appeals. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Richard Gortz. Mr. Gortz has been a resident of North Port for over twelve months and does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee. Florida Statutes 112.3143 regarding conflict disclosures is not applicable for this applicant. His application has been submitted for review and consideration.
