Approve Amendment No. 1 to Construction Contract No. 2021-47 - Myakkahatchee Creek Water Treatment Plant (MCWTP) Structural Rehabilitation Project - Phase 2 with Innovative Masonry Restoration, LLC, for an additional amount of $37,125.00, for a total contract price of $1,231,432.00.
Background Information
> October 12, 2021: Commission approved Construction Contract 2021-47 for the MCWTP Phase 2 Project including planned improvements to Clearwell #1, Pump Room #1, Filter #1, the flash mixer, Clarifier #2, and the chemical feed building.
> April 25, 2022: Innovative Masonry Restoration submitted a change order request for additional work needed for the replacement of the existing roof rail system on the pump room at the recommendation of the project Engineer of Record.
* Cost of the additional work is $37,125.00.
* Time for additional work, including previous change orders, will extend the contract time by three days.
Amendment No. 1 to Construction Contract No. 2021-47 has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
