Recommended Action

 

Adopt Resolution No. 2022-R-29 Establishing Not-to-Exceed Non-Ad Valorem Assessment Rates for the North Port Solid Waste District for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 as presented.

 

Background Information

 

The Fiscal Year 2022-2023 proposed budget for the North Port Solid Waste District proposes no change to the current Non-Ad Valorem Assessment rates. The City of North Port will provide this information to citizens through the Sarasota County TRIM (Truth in Millage) Notice and Notice of Proposed Taxes.

 

The Fiscal year 2022-2023 Solid Waste District Non-Ad Valorem Assessment rate is hereby requested to be established and confirmed to be $250.00 for each residential unit for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.

 

Resolution No. 2022-R-29 has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
