Recommended Action
Approve Joe Justice as a Regular Member of the Charter Review Advisory Board to serve a two-year term from June 7, 2022, to June 7, 2024.
Background Information
Currently, there is one vacancy for a Regular Member and two vacancies for Alternate Members on the Charter Review Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Joe Justice and there have been no other applications submitted. Mr. Justice has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months and does not presently serve on any other Board or Committee. He previously served on the Charter Review Board from January 23, 2006, to January 11, 2014. There have been no prior voting conflict disclosures on file with the City by said applicant in accordance with Florida Statutes 112.3143(6) and his application has been provided for review and consideration.
