Discussion and possible direction regarding the draft Facility Lease Policy for City-owned facilities.
Background Information
During the City Commission Special Meeting held on March 3, 2022, Chuck Speake, Interim Public Works Director provided a presentation including policy overview; definitions; statement of policy and procedures; perceived lease goals; actions regarding the new policy; City webpage; adding new rates to the City rate schedule, and centralized management of lease contracts.
At the conclusion of the presentation, staff advised the Commission that their next action item would be to draft a Facility Lease Policy of City-Owned Facilities. Once completed, the Facility Lease Policy of City-Owned Facilities would be presented to the Commission for their review and consideration.
Accordingly, staff has prepared the draft Facility Lease Policy of City-Owned Facilities for the Commission’s review and consideration.
