TITLE: Approve utilizing temporary staffing agencies, including but not limited to, Ad-Vance Recruiting, LLC, for employment services on an ‘as needed basis’ for an estimated amount of $132,260 in fiscal year 2020.
Recommended Action
Approve utilizing temporary staffing agencies, including but not limited to, Ad-Vance Recruiting, LLC, for employment services on an ‘as needed basis’ for an estimated amount of $132,260 in fiscal year 2020.
Background Information
Annually, the City Commission approved an agreement to utilize Ad-Vance Recruiting, LLC for a variety of personnel services. To ensure the ability to obtain qualified candidates when necessary, there may be a need to utilize additional agencies. Funds are budgeted in fiscal year 2020 to provide temporary personnel services. The employment services help the City meet staffing needs without hiring full time employees for temporary projects or needs. To fulfill an immediate need, there has been prior approval through standard process of $25,000 for NDS to hire an inspector on a temporary basis.
