TITLE: Presentation on Sarasota County Centennial Celebration

Background Information
Frank Cassell, on behalf of the Sarasota County Centennial Celebration Steering Committee, gave a presentation to the Historic and Cultural Advisory Board (HCAB) at their May 9, 2019 meeting on the Sarasota County Centennial Celebration. The presentation was further discussed at their next meeting on June 13, 2019. Different options to show support for the Celebration were discussed, including having staff draft a resolution. The Board requested that a presentation on the Sarasota County Centennial Celebration be given to the City Commission and the City Manager approved the request.
