TITLE: Procedure for Charter Officer Time Off
Recommended Action
Approve recommendation by Human Resources regarding tracking Charter Officer time off from work.
Background Information
At the September 10, 2019 Regular Commission Meeting, the City Manager was directed by Commission to have Human Resources bring back a recommendation for procedures on tracking Charter Officer time off from work. Human Resources has researched the exempt status under the Fair Labor Standards Act as well as reviewed recognized management best practices.
