TITLE:                     Selection of a date for a joint meeting between the North Port City Commission and Sarasota County Commission

Recommended Action

Select a date to have a joint meeting between the North Port City Commission and Sarasota County Commission.

Background Information

The North Port City Commission requested to have a joint meeting with Sarasota County Commission.  Two topics previously mentioned by the North Port City Commission are the Legacy Trail and South River Road.  Ms. Leigh Sprimont with Sarasota County provided the following options:

•                     October 2^nd in the afternoon

•                     November 13^th in the afternoon

•                     February 25^th

•                     February 26^th 

The only conflict known is the City Commission meeting that is likely to be scheduled for February 25^th.  Please also provide your preference of the location of the joint meeting.
