TITLE: 2020 City of North Port State and Federal Legislative Priorities
Recommended Action
Approve 2020 City of North Port State and Federal Legislative Priorities.
Background Information
The City of North Port monitors State and Federal legislation throughout the year to identify funding and other opportunities to ensure that the needs of the community are met. The City Commission reviews and adopts legislative priorities in preparation for the State and Federal Legislative sessions. On July 1, 2019, we brought State and Federal Legislative Priorities before the Commission for input.
As a result of that meeting, attached are draft copies of the 2020 State and Federal Legislative Priorities for Commission consideration.
The adopted priorities will be submitted to the Sarasota County Legislative Delegation after adoption by the Commission.
