Recognition of National Community Planning Month
Background Information
October is National Community Planning Month and each year the American Planning Association (APA) recognizes planning professionals and citizen planners for their dedication and contribution to the community. This recognition raises awareness that planners play an important role in creating livable and sustainable communities. Each City, County, and State is encouraged to recognize planners in their community.
Strategic Plan
Develop and promote City governance that fosters trust and utilizes departments strengths and innovative philosophies to facilitate effective and efficient provision of all City services.
Foster a healthy work environment that results in enhanced employee engagement.
