Background Information
Through performing their jobs day in day out with excellence, “Garbage Men and Women” keep our local communities and the world at large safe and clean. Many people may not realize the enormous environmental impacts of recycling programs or how their local sanitation workers are positively impacting the world’s environment. Sanitation workers are “Keeping You and the Environment Safe.”
As such, we would like to recognize and honor the continuing contributions of our “Garbage Men and Women” by observing “National Garbage Man Day.”
