TITLE: City Wide Fees Discussion
Recommended Action
Provide direction on proposed changes to City fees.
Background Information
As part of the City's budget process for FY2018, the City is reviewing the fees that are charged for City provided services. In previous years, the City Commission did an in depth review of Parks and Recreation fees as well as Neighborhood Development Services and Utilities. There are some changes that have been proposed to various departments which are included in the Appendix. Upon receiving direction, revenue projections will be prepared as part of the City budget and the fees will be incorporated into the City-Wide Fee Ordinance that will be brought before the City Commission for first reading on July 11, 2017 and adoption at second reading on July 25, 2017.
The City-Wide Fee Schedule ordinance for FY2016 and the FY2017 ordinance modifying that fee schedule are attached for reference.
