Background Information

The purpose of this proposal was to obtain the services of an experienced, professional, licensed, and qualified architectural/engineering firm to locate and assist in obtaining a site for the Utilities Administration and Warehouse Facility building. Upon securing a site, the firm will design the building and site improvements. The Utilities Administration, warehouse and storage facility are currently located at 6644 W. Price Boulevard. The facility has served North Port Utilities (NPU) for approximately 20 years. With the significant growth that the City has experienced in recent years, NPU has also grown and now has outgrown the administration building, warehouse and storage area. The new site/building will accommodate not only the current staff but projected interim and buildout conditions. The requested design will include offices for personnel, parking for customers and personnel, an area for fleet vehicles and large equipment, and warehouse space for inventory parts.
