TITLE: Approve utilization of the Manatee County School District Contract 16-0025-MR3 for the purchase of the Field Equipment for Butler Park project P14BMF in the estimated amount of $107,587.85.
Recommended Action
Commission approve the utilization of the Manatee County School District contract 16-0025-MR3 for the purchase of the Field Equipment for the Butler Park project from Bliss Products and Services, Inc. in the estimated amount of $107,587.85.
Background Information
Butler Park construction is currently underway, with a completion date of late summer. Staff is requesting Commission approve the use of the Manatee County School District contract 16-0025-MR3 to purchase the necessary field equipment needed to support the maximum utilization of the four (4) new multipurpose fields. Bliss Products and Services will provide the equipment itemized on the attached quote along with all assembly and installation services.
The multi-purpose fields will be equipped with standard electronic scoreboards, benches and goals. The fields will be programmed based upon current needs with a combination of new and existing equipment that can be mobilized to easily accommodate any future programming needs. These items are consistent with the amenities provided throughout the County, and will enhance the field sport options at Butler Park.

Financial Impact
Butler Park Multipurpose Fields, project P14BMF, account number 306-3036-572-6300, is budgeted in the current fiscal year Capital Improvement Plan, with available funding for this purchase.
