Approve Ordinance No. 2019-13

 

Background Information

 

At its March 7, 2019 meeting, the City Commission by consensus directed that an ordinance be presented to amend the Youth Council to allow an at-large member who is a resident of the city but attends school outside the city.

 

At its April 23, 2019 meeting, the City Commission considered this ordinance and continued it to second reading, with direction to change Sec. 4-202(b) to allow students who have completed sixth grade to become members.
