Recommended Action
Approve Resolution No. 2017-R-23 establishing the Solid Waste District’s not-to-exceed non-ad valorem assessment rate for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-2018 at $249.00.
Background Information
The FY 2017-2018 proposed budget for the Solid Waste District contemplates no rate increase to the current non-ad valorem assessment rate of $249.00. The City will provide this information to citizens through the Sarasota County TRIM Notice and Notice of Proposed Taxes.
The anticipated revenue from residents is $7,564,520.
