TITLE: Agreement No. 2017-06 with American Irrigation, LLC for irrigation maintenance services for an estimated total annual budget amount of $185,360.
Recommended Action
Approve Agreement No. 2017-06 with American Irrigation, LLC for irrigation maintenance services for an estimated total annual budget amount of $185,360.
Background Information
In November 2016, Request for Proposal No. 2017-06 for Irrigation Maintenance Services was issued. One (1) proposal was received and evaluated American Irrigation, LLC, a North Port local business, was found by the Selection Committee to be responsive, responsible and qualified to provide the services requested in the solicitation.
The agreement will consist of irrigation maintenance for the following:
* Sumter Boulevard
* Toledo Blade Boulevard
* Biscayne Drive (will be included after median work is complete)
The annual regular maintenance service amount is $38,280. For repairs, labor rates are:
$60.00 per man hour for regular hours
$100.00 per man hour for after hours and weekends
Parts will be reimbursed at cost plus 10% for materials handling.
The agreement term is from March 1, 2017, through and including February 29, 2020, and may be renewed at the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional one-year terms by mutual agreement. The City Attorney has approved to form and content.
