TITLE:                     Crosswalk Study for Biscayne Drive from Safford Terrace to south of I-75 and Pan American Boulevard from Biscayne Drive to its northerly terminus at Spring Haven Drive.

 

 

Recommended Action

 

Approve Crosswalk Study for Biscayne Drive from Safford Terrace to south of I-75 and Pan American Boulevard from Biscayne Drive to its northerly terminus at Spring Haven Drive.

 

Background Information

 

On April 11, 2017, City Commission directed staff to move forward with a study to address pedestrian accessibility on Pan American Boulevard from Biscayne Drive to Spring Haven Drive and on Biscayne Drive from Safford Terrace to I-75.

 

In addition, staff would look at adding a crosswalk on Biscayne Drive at the south frontage road of US 41, known as Tamiami Trail.
