Approve Strategic Plan 2017-2022-2032

 

Background Information

 

The Commission recently completed its strategic planning effort for 2017-2022-2032.  The attached Leader’s Guide 2017, Final Report, is a summary document for consideration and adoption.

 

During the planning process, City Commission identified the following Policy Action Agenda items for 2018:

 

Top Priority:

                     North Port Aquatic Center

                     High Speed Internet Connectivity and Service - Community Expansion

                     Unified Land Development Code: Update

                     Warm Mineral Springs Master Plan

                     Sidewalk Master Plan and Policy: Review/Refinement

                     City-School Street Lights and Sidewalk at Bus Stops

                     City-wide Traffic Connectivity and Alternative Routes Study

 

High Priority:

                     I-75 Frontage Road Feasibility

                     Deer Prairie Creek Connector Bridge

                     City Economic Development Plan

                     Stormwater Management Plan: Project Priority, Funding

                     City Communications Plan

                     Website Upgrade: Funding

                     Eastside Plan for City Facilities and Services
