Certificates of Achievement presentation to the 2017 Goblin Committee
Background Information
The 2017 Goblin Committee was made up of twenty-six (26) dedicated employees who worked together as a team to make the 11th Annual Trick or Treat at City Hall event, held on October 27, 2017, a successful event with nearly 3,200 people attending. This community event would not have been possible if it wasn't for the dedication of all the City employees and volunteers working together to transform all three floors of City Hall into a Monster Mash Bash; Beauty and the Beast; and the Lego Movie. The overarching goal of this event is to provide the children of North Port a safe place to Trick or Treat.
Staff requests that Commission recognize the 2017 Goblin Committee members and thank them for their dedication and hard work. Without these employees and volunteers this event would not be possible. In addition to the committee members recognized below, there are numerous city employees, volunteers, and family members who participated to make this event successful. General Services is planning a volunteer appreciation event in the Spring 2018, where all volunteers will be recognized for their efforts.
