Recommended Action

Approve First Amendment to Superion, LLC Application Service Provider Order #160324-1 for revised goods and services to include as listed below for an estimated amount of $581,819.90 plus Utilities training and contingency for an estimated amount of $16,000, for an estimated budgeted project total of $597,819.90.

Background Information

On 5/23/2017, City Commission approved Ordinance #2017-12 amending the Neighborhood Development Services, Building Fund budget in the amount of $603,000 to fund the TRAKiT project. The following items are needed to implement the TRAKiT solution:

1. Approval of the Superion, LLC TRAKiT software licenses, training, professional services and additional hosting services agreement amendment; and,

2. Approval to utilize the City of Miami agreement to purchase the MCCI, LLC Laserfiche Document Management System and data migration services. The MCCI Laserfiche product is a required 3rd party component of the TrakIT project. This item is being presented as an independent agenda item at the November 28 Commission meeting, #17-1379.

Neighborhood Development Services (NDS) requested to upgrade the software currently utilized, the Community Development Suite, for operations of Planning, Building and Code Enforcement.
