Financial Impact

The amount for the special election was not budgeted in the FY 2017 budget.  The City will look for savings in the General Fund during the year to cover the cost of this item.  If enough savings in not identified throughout the year, either a budget amendment or use of contingency will be brought to Commission to fund this expenditure.  Currently a deposit of $20,000 is due to the Supervisor of Elections.
