Background Information
There has been a large issue, in regards to parking, at 2 plazas along 41, the Spring Plaza and the plaza to the right of it. Both plazas are very busy and there has become an issue with enough parking spaces. Currently, cars park on the shoulder, in the grass, along the ‘side street’ Zagrobelny Way, while in the various businesses. To promote economic growth, and support the current businesses, we, as a City, should see if we can further enhance the 41 Corridor by continuing to add angle parking along this section of 41, as we did in the western end of it. The Commission accepted a plan for FDOT to place a multi-use sidewalk along 41 in this area, and the timing would be perfect to place the parking in, also.
