Background Information
Automotive Service Professionals Week was formed to recognize the men and women who service and maintain the myriad of vehicles upon which we depend for our daily activities. The training and education necessary to properly diagnose and repair today’s sophisticated vehicle fleet, and coordinate maintenance, requires a significant level of knowledge, skill and dedication. The City is proud to help recognize these individuals for their commitment to both their customers and their profession, and their dedication to the City.
It is fitting that we recognize and honor the continuing contributions of our fleet mechanics and support professionals by observing Automotive Service Professionals Week.
