Recommended Action
Approve the Axon Field Trial Agreement for Body Worn Cameras.
Background Information
The North Port Police Department is seeking to Test and Evaluate (T&E) Body Worn Cameras (BWC) from Axon. This vendor has agreed to allow staff to T&E their BWC. Prior to loaning their equipment, an agreement must be signed between the City of North Port and Axon before we can proceed.
The Agreement has been reviewed by the City Attorney’s Office as to form and content.
