TITLE: Memorandum of Understanding between the Jewish Family and Children Services of the Suncoast (JFCS) and the City of North Port for the City to coordinate financial services for families experiencing an unforeseen circumstance.
Recommended Action
Approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the Jewish Family and Children Services of the Suncoast (JFCS) and the City of North Port, for a term of two years, effective once approved by Commission and set to expire May 31, 2020.
Background Information
The City and JFCS have collaborated in assisting clients with financial resources experiencing an unforeseen crisis. Both agencies currently refer to each other based on client need and available grants. For funding purposes, JFCS has requested Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) to be executed with all partnering agencies. The attached Memorandum of Understanding allows the agencies to continue providing services to the City of North Port residents.
This MOU has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney’s Office.
