TITLE:                     2019 Convocation of Governments based on the interlocal agreement for School Facility Planning

 

 

Recommended Action

 

Discussion and possible action regarding suggested agenda items for 2019 Convocation.

 

Background Information

 

Each year the local governments meet to set direction, discuss issues, and reach understanding concerning issues of mutual concern regarding coordination of land use and school facilities planning, including population and student growth, in-county migration, development trends, school needs, off-site improvements, school concurrency, and joint use opportunities. The annual convocation would be held on January 18, 2019.

 

Any suggested agenda items would need to be submitted to the Superintendent of Schools no later than November 15, 2018.

Develop and promote City governance that fosters trust and utilizes departmental strengths and innovative philosophies to facilitate effective and efficient provision of all City services.
