Recommended Action
Receive presentation by Joshua Jester, P.E., Project Manager for the I-75 Preliminary Development and Environmental Study and Christopher Saffron, P.E, District One Interchange Reviewer prioritization of access road along U.S. 41 and utilization of such to create a new east-west route, and to create a new east-west route along I-75 corridor that would eventually hook up to Honore Avenue.
Background Information
During the Regular City Commission Meeting held on March 6, 2018, there was Commission consensus for staff to reach out to the Florida Department of Transportation to talk about prioritization of access road along U.S. 41 and utilization of such to create a new east-west route, and to create a new east-west route along I-75 corridor that would eventually hook up to Honore Avenue, including an offer for a presentation to Commission.
During the Governing Body of the Road and Drainage District Commission Meeting on March 19, 2019, Joshua Jester, P.E., Project Manager for the I-75 Preliminary Development and Environmental Study and Christopher Saffron, P.E, District One Interchange Reviewer will provide a presentation regarding prioritization of access road along U.S. 41 and utilization of such to create a new east-west route, and to create a new east-west route along I-75 corridor that would eventually hook up to Honore Avenue.
