Recommended Action
Adopt Ordinance No. 2018-36
Background Information
On July 2, 2018, the City Commission directed certain changes to the City’s two codes related to advisory boards. The changes to the ULDC will come before the Commission in Ordinance No. 2018-37, as a separate agenda item. The changes to the Code of the City of North Port are captured in this ordinance.
The Commission considered this ordinance at first reading on January 8, 2019 and directed the following changes:
• § 4-3(b)(2) - to clarify that the member must currently own real property in North Port; and
• § 4-191 - to clarify that the member must currently own real property in North Port.
