Recommended Action
Approve Resolution No. 2018-R-11 establishing the Solid Waste District’s not-to-exceed non-ad valorem assessment rate for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-2019 at $230.00.
Background Information
The fiscal year 2018-2019 proposed budget for the Solid Waste District contemplates no rate increase to the current non-ad valorem assessment rate of $230.00. The City will provide this information to citizens through the Sarasota County TRIM Notice and Notice of Proposed Taxes.
The anticipated revenue from residents is $7,280,280.
