TITLE: Appointment of Chris Sterner and Bill Goetz as Regular Members to the Historic and Cultural Advisory Board.
Recommended Action
Consider appointment of Chris Sterner and Bill Goetz as Regular Members to the Historic and Cultural Advisory Board. Please include in the motion if the Commission is choosing Mr. Sterner and/or Mr. Goetz to be a Member who is a professional in one of the disciplines listed in the Ordinance Under Section 4-191-Membership or resident-at-large.
Background Information
The Historic and Cultural Advisory Board was recently created and currently there are no Members. The City Clerk’s Office has received two applications. The first applicant is Chris Sterner. Mr. Sterner has been a resident of the City of North Port for 15 years and is not serving on any other City Advisory Boards or Committees. The second applicant is Bill Goetz. Mr. Goetz has been a resident of the City of North Port for 23 years and is not serving on any other City Advisory Boards or Committees. The applications for Mr. Sterner and Mr. Goetz have been submitted for your review and consideration.
